Every time I wear my light blue dress shirt I get a lot of compliments from girls. I think I figured out why. Wearing light blue subliminally reminds girls of Tiffany & Co., the jewelry store, and girls LOVE Tiffany’s. They even have the color trademarked, its called Tiffany Blue.
drama free is the way to be!
I’d like to take this moment to appreciate how drama free my life is right now. First of all, I’m blessed to have an awesome family and down ass friends, and because they are so cool it doesn’t take much effort on my part to maintain a close relationship with my loved ones. Other than that, I’d like to thank myself for the way my life is right now. It is because of the decisions I’ve made that my biggest stresses in my life are deciding what delicious food am I going to eat today, and where do I want to party this weekend.
I’m the one that chose my career and decided to work hard. Because of that I don’t really have any money problems, I always have what I need, and the possibilities for my future are endless. I’ve chosen to live within my means, so I always have the necessities and still have enough to support my fun habits and enjoy a few toys. I have no credit or debt issues. I’ve chosen carefully who I live with and made a conscious effort to do my part at home. Because of that I have an awesome living situation and a place to call my own, as well as a family away from my family. I’ve decided I do not want to be a father, yet. Because of that I don’t have to deal the responsibility of raising a child and do not have any baby mama drama. I am single by choice. Because of that I am free to do whatever, whenever, and whomever, however I want, and I never have to deal with a nagging gf. I’m not saying I’m lonely. I do have a few relationships I maintain, but nothing serious. I have made an effort to be completely honest in every relationship I’m in and because of that I do not have to deal with the gf drama that I see other guys go through that makes me want to vomit. I’ve challenged myself to not accept things just because. I don’t ever want to feel brainwashed. Because of this, I read, I look for answers in more than one place, I educate myself in my own way, and in turn my faith, or lack thereof, and knowledge are stronger than ever and I am becoming more secure in what I believe in and what I know. I am an active person, because of that and being fortunate, I have good health. Everything is going the way I want because of the choices I’ve made. Now my confidence is at an all time high and I am loving it.
Because of the choices I’ve made, I am where I am today and I like this place. I have proven to myself that I am in control of my life. I make the decisions. I control the outcomes. For those of us that walk around with the “poor me?” or “why me?” attitude, shut that shit up! Stop feeling sorry for yourselves because you have the power to take your life where you want it to go. All you have to do is make the right decisions.
Thank you, JD, for doing what it takes to make yourself happy. I know this isn’t going to last forever. Hopefully, I can continue to make the right decisions to keep this going for a really long time.
I just don’t get it.
Before buying clothes, we try them on. Before making a withdrawal, we check our balance. Before planning an event, we check the weather. Before buying a house, we get it inspected. We don’t just accept things just because. We ask for opinions, second opinions, we find out for ourselves. We do science experiments. We watch shows like Myth Busters. We check and double check. We verify. EXCEPT when it comes to religion. We just say yes we believe. No explanation necessary. Why why why why why does all sense go out the window when it comes to religion? I just don’t get it. If you can’t verify, if there is no way to find out, do you just automatically believe? Not me. Not with something this big! I need to know! I need facts! I need proof! I need evidence! But, I guess the majority of us don’t need that and I just don’t get it.
